The water of the cove where this property is located is a brackish, tidal stream that opens into the Corrottoman River a couple of miles west of the Chesapeake Bay. The water in Whitehouse Creek runs to 10-12 feet and averages 6 - 8 feet mean low water. Water depths at the property are at approximately 4 - 6 feet mean low water in the area where a dock is located. There are approximately many miles of shoreline along Whitehouse Creek and the neighboring creeks off of the Corrottoman with shores which range from salt water marshes to high banked deciduous wooded shoreline. There is easy access from the house to the Rappahannock River and on to the Chesapeake Bay.
