Heron Cove is what I call the little cove of my river where I live on the Northern Neck of Virginia because of the five great blue herons who live here each summer. They share the cove with a variety of fish, a flock of wild turkeys, a number of white tail deer, flocks of migratory waterfowl, a family of otters and a few very lucky humans.
